Hop, Skip and a Jump carries that quick, light energy of a move I make before thinking — a bright form darting across the surface and leaving lively marks behind. When I painted it, the whole thing felt lifted and a little mischievous, as though it were enjoying the moment rather than trying to define it or perfect it. That’s the feeling I want people to have when they look at it — a small spark of ease, a bit of play, something that lifts you for a second, a third, and forward
Hop, Skip, and a Jump is unframed, ready to hang (hardware attached).
24×24 Acrylic
Edges 1.5" painted black. The painting includes a thin black digital border that reflects the organic border of the original. You may also notice the floating frame used in the final photograph. This frame is used for styling purposes and is not included in the purchase.
