I created Vivacity by covering up two completed blonde paintings that had been finished and set aside for several weeks. I decided to take the work in a completely different direction, returning to colors that were more naturally occurring at that time in my process. This piece carries a vibrant energy and complexity, while another new painting alongside it is a bit more playful. Vivacity captures the spirit of transformation and renewal through bold colors, dynamic shapes, and layered textures.
